Job Description:
Expert Pet is a one-stop shop for all things pet. We offer daycare, training, grooming, resort, and a full marketplace of wonderful, quality products. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to lead our team. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in retail management, with a track record of success in managing employees and achieving sales targets. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the retail store, including sales, inventory, customer service, and employee management
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve store targets and increase revenue
- Establish and maintain a comprehensive employee training and education program to ensure that all employees are knowledgeable about our products and services and can speak with customers in a confident and welcoming manner
- Ensure that the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers
- Create and maintain a positive work environment for employees, providing support and guidance to help them reach their full potential
- Handle all administrative tasks related to the store, including scheduling, payroll, and budgeting
- Ensure that all employees are well-trained in sales techniques and customer service skills
- Ensure that the store is always fully stocked with the latest and most exciting products, and make recommendations for new product lines to add to our offerings
Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in retail management, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and employees in a friendly and professional manner.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory, make orders, and ensure that the store is always fully stocked.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies, and experience in implementing them successfully.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and retail software.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate employees to achieve their goals.
- A passion for retail, and a willingness to go above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service.
